You stay in a quality hotel or, if you prefer, in a friendly, family-run guest-house. 8-day, 10-day and 14-day holidays are available. As part of our language holidays, we offer guided-walks, full day excursions by luxury coach, sightseeing, cultural events and visits to traditional local pubs. In addition, there are opportunities available to take painting and photography courses, to ride, canoe, sail and much more.

The fun, relaxing camaraderie of these holidays makes them ideal for single people, couples and, indeed, the whole family. The groups are made up of people from different countries and classes in English-language and foreign-language learning are offered. Practise the language you are learning on native speakers while experiencing, for example, the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of England's Lake District National Park.

Small group, conversation-based classes will be divided into levels of ability: beginners, intermediate, advanced. As the walks and excursions are organised around the language classes, you can take the opportunity to practise what you have learned in class on the group members while you are out and about enjoying the sights and scenery.

It is possible to book the holiday as a walking /study tour without a language course.
